InfraWorks Development LTD formerly registered as IDEV Engineering Associates began in 2013 to undertake Engineering Studies and Projects. The business began work in the field of irrigation before rapidly expanding into other market segments: Buildings, Transport, Infrastructure, and buildings.
In 2015 InfraWorks Development Ltd started to work in the Project Management, Coordination and Supervision of Construction Contracts areas. Subsequently, other areas of activity are expected to be added: Coordination of Health and Safety, Environmental Management and Professional Training. The firm was incorporated in February 2018 by the registrar of companies.
Currently, InfraWorks Development Ltd is an Engineering Consultancy Company with 5 years of activity, domestic and International (Zambia), 9 persons with two main areas of activity:
- Design and Project Management (representing 90% of the annual turnover) and;
- Construction Management and Site Supervision.
CERTIFICATES AND ACCREDITATION
InfraWorks Development Ltd is yet to introduce an Organization Management System which is certified by competent bodies in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 (Quality), ISO 14001:2004 (Environment) and OHSAS 18001 (Safety). We are hopeful that in the future we will be accredited in these areas. However, at the moment we have established an internal safety management manual for management of safety in our sites in line with the national occupational health, safety and welfare (1997). The system is applied in all work carried on by the company.
The Quality of the work carried out and the services supplied to customers is assured by the fulfilment of the methodologies and procedures implemented under the system which has been extensively tested with outstanding success.
InfraWorks Development Ltd is accredited by the National Construction Industry Council as an Engineering Consulting Firm.
